Margherita studied scenography at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in her birthplace Milano, a city internationally renowned for exquisite furnishings and interior design. Her early work in set design for advertising firms provided a firm footing for a career in interior design.

Working alongside her husband, eminent Spanish architect Alberto Castaño Gonzalez, has given Margherita vital insights into the basic principles of architecture as the foundation for a beautiful interior.

Margherita accepts only a limited number of projects per year in order to provide each client with the full attention they deserve. She is fluent in four languages – Italian, Spanish, English, and German – facilitating communication with her international clientele.
